EMT INDEPENDENT STUDY REFRESHER

This 30-hour refresher course fulfills the NREMT requirement for an individual who has not been successful on the NREMT EMT exam in 3 attempts. It does not fulfill the requirements for the NREMT EMT biennial refresher.

• This course incorporates the National EMS Education Standards and NREMT Recertification Guide for EMTs. 

  • Assignments include power points with videos to view and articles to read. Also, completion of JBL short courses with post tests are required. There are also LC Ready reviews and tests to be completed.

  • This class is entirely online. It can be started as soon as registration is received. All assignments need to be completed within 30 days.

  • A certificate from Treasure Coast Medical Institute will be issued when the student fulfills all the assignments.
