The Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is designed for pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, mid-levels, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.

*Prerequisites: Current CPR Card & Pretest must be completed before class. Please bring certificate to class.

*Initial Course 16 hours- recommended for those not familiar with ECG's, algorithms, and pharmacology.

*Renewal Course 8 hours- recommended for providers who are already certified but in need of re-certification conducted on the second day of class.

*The textbook for this class is MANDATORY. The 2020 AHA PALS Provider Manual textbook for the class is sold separately and can be purchased at Treasure Coast Medical Institute or through a third-party vendor, WorldPoint.
